PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transferring marine algae and its apparatus which enable improvement in operation efficiency, the reduction of operation cost and the restraint of sea water pollution diffusion due to the transferring operation by mechanizing operations for transferring submarine algae with a back hoe without the help of man power. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a barge 17 capable of being temporarily mounted with marine algae to be transferred, the back hoe 18 mounted on the barge 17, a collecting basket 10 capable of collecting and transferring marine algae without a bottom plate and a collecting box with the front side open which is detachably installed in the basket 10.
