PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhering structure of an interior material for an elevator car hardly causing the separation of an end of the adhered interior material and easy for improving design of the inside of the car. SOLUTION: In the car formed with a clearance A between adjacent joints 3a, 3b of two parallel side plates 1a, 1b, the interior materials 5a, 5b are adhered so as to cover the front surfaces of the side plates 1a, 1b and the joints 3a, 3b, a joint cover member 6 made of an elastic body is disposed at a position for covering the clearance A, and both sides in the width direction of the joint cover member 6 are crimped and fixed to the ends of the interior materials 5a, 5b adhered to the joints 3a, 3b, respectively. Thus, the end surfaces of the interior materials 5a, 5b are covered with the joint cover member 6 not to be exposed, so that moisture or foreign matters hardly intrude through the end surfaces to improve peeling strength. Scar or dirt of the exiting joints 3a, 3b can be covered and hidden to improve the design of the inside of the car.
