PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite board capable of being sintered at higher temperatures while restraining reaction with a substrate which causes the characteristic deterioration of a dielectric layer and also scarcely causing a crack in the dielectric layer, or the like, and to provide an EL(electroluminescent) element using the same hoard. SOLUTION: In the composite board where electrodes and the dielectric layer are formed in this order on the substrate having electric insulation, this composite board is so constituted that the coefficient of thermal expansion of the substrate is 10-20 ppm/K. This EL element is produced by using the composite board. |
