PURPOSE:To perfectly transfer the ink image on a transfer medium to a recording medium without raising applied pressure. CONSTITUTION:In a transfer process transferring the ink image formed on a transfer drum 1 to recording paper 10, a section pressing a transfer film 33 to the transfer drum 1 for a long time under low pressure and a section pressing the transfer film 33 to the transfer drum for a short time under high pressure are provided. The recording paper and the ink image are heated by the halogen lamp included in the transfer film 33. |
