PURPOSE: The stator core of pole change induction motor is provided to identically keep winding space factor although the numbers of the windings inserted into many respective slots are not same each other. CONSTITUTION: The stator core(300) of pole change induction motor comprises the first slot part(301) including the slots to which compensating winding is inserted, the second slot part(302) including the slots to which compensating winding is not inserted, the first yoke part(303) corresponding to the first slot part(301) and the second yoke part(304) corresponding to the second slot part(302). The size of each slots of the first slot part(301) is larger than the size of each slots of the second slot part(302). The size of each slots of the second slot part(302) is set with considering maximum permit winding space factor and the size of each slots of the first slot part(301) is set like the method of the second slot part(302). In other words, the space factor of the first slot part(301) sets the same as the space factor of the second slot part(302), and in the base of the set winding space factor, the size of the each slots of the second slot part(302) is set.
