PURPOSE: A washing control method of a drum washing machine is provided to perform boiling washing, and to improve washing efficiency by resetting washing condition corresponding to the laundry amount and the washing water amount according to changes of temperature in boiling washing. CONSTITUTION: Washing water is supplied to a rotating tub through a supply valve with detergent by selecting boiling washing through a key input unit of a control panel in putting the laundry in the rotating tub. A control unit drives a motor and a heater by controlling a motor driving unit and a heater driving unit, and performs boiling washing in setting time and temperature of washing. The heater is stopped to restrict water heating in case of the water temperature to be over the reference value. The control unit counts the heater driving time, and detects the water temperature in stopping the heater in case of the heater driving time to be shorter than the first reference time. The heater stop time counts in case of the water temperature to be the second reference value. The washing hour and the washing temperature are reset over the initial set washing time and temperature in case of the heater stop time to be more than the second reference time. The control unit performs boiling washing by driving the motor and the heater, and detects the washing temperature by a temperature sensor. Heating water is stopped by stopping the heater at the set washing temperature, and boiling washing is finished by stopping the motor at the reset washing time. |
