PURPOSE: An aromatic ink for a writing instrument is provided which relieves the tension or raises power of concentration of a user who writes using the writing instrument or uses documents written by the writing instrument by containing aroma having particular function into the writing instrument. CONSTITUTION: The aromatic ink for a writing instrument is prepared by adding aromatic materials having an efficacy of aromatherapy to an ink composition consisting of solvent, coloring agent and other additives, wherein the aromatic materials are one or more materials selected from the group consisting of linden flower, licorice, pereirian, peppermint, lavender, lemongrass, mint, lemon verbena, thyme, rosemary, mate, marigold, orange peel, wild strawberry, orange blossom, sage, basil, rosepink, marrow, black tea, jasmine, valerian, bergamot, camomile, cedarwood virginia, cinnamon, clary sage, cypress, eucalyptus, fennel, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, hyssop, juniper, lemon, lime, marjoram, myrrh, palmarosa, patchouli, rose absolute, sandalwood, tea-tree, ylang ylang, ginger, rose, and cardamom, and wherein an added amount of the aromatic materials is 0.001 to 10 wt.% of the ink composition. |
