METHOD FOR GUIDING UTILITY STOP USING SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for guiding utility stop using a short message service in a mobile communication system is provided to easily register a utility stop state using the short message service and guide the utility stop state to an object side using the short message service. CONSTITUTION: If an absence message according to a long-time absence menu is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal(410), a service center registers a long-time absence function to a correspond subscriber and informs the register to a corresponding mobile communication terminal(420). The mobile communication terminal outputs a utility stop state according to the selection of the long-time absence menu to a display unit(430). The service center limits a call receipt to the registered subscriber(440) and transmits an absence message registered by the subscriber to a calling side using a short message service(450). If the mobile communication terminal registers a power-on(460), the service center releases the long-time absence function to the corresponding subscriber and provides a normal call service(470).
