PURPOSE: An open geographic information processing component system is provided to offer a reusable and interoperable open geographic information processing component system by configuring a GIS(geographic Information System) as components composed of a standard interface and accessing the geographic data stored in a different kind of database in a single method. CONSTITUTION: The open geographic information processing component system(100) consists of a MapBase component(200), a geometry component(300), and a spatial reference system component(400). The MapBase component(200), composed of a data processing component(210), a data acquisition component(220), and a spatial query component(230), accesses a different kind of database, acquires geographic data, processes the acquired data, and processes a spatial query for the geographic data. The geometry component(300) models geographic objects and executes the spatial operation between geographic objects. The spatial reference system component(400) models spatial reference systems and processes the coordinate conversion and projection between spatial reference systems. |
