PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device capable of reproducing information stably. SOLUTION: This information reproducing device is provided with a convergent lens 60 for converging light from an optical source 61 to be a converged light, an optical detector 70 including the first optical detecting part 71 for detecting the first and second light reflected by an information storage medium and the second optical detection part 72 for detecting the second light to detect light, which is converged by the converging lens, focused on the recording surface of the information recording medium and reflected by the recording surface of the information storage medium, and a difference circuit 75 for obtaining a difference between the first signal obtained by the first optical detection part of the optical detector and the second signal obtained by the second optical detection part to obtain a reproduction signal from a pre-pit formed previously in the information storage medium by using the output signal of the difference circuit.
