PURPOSE: A method for preventing focus-flutter display in a television receiver or a monitor is provided to prevent the kine-driver from saturating for several seconds after the TV receiver or monitor is turned on. CONSTITUTION: A preventing method of focus-flutter display comprises a step for amplifying a received signal for driving a cathode element of a CRT(Cathode Ray Tube,5) and a step for delaying the first amplification for a sufficient period enough to prevent the focus-flutter display in the CRT in the amplification period. A corresponding kine-driver circuit(20) for preventing the focus-flutter display consists of amplifiers(2,3,4) for amplifying received video signals and for connecting the amplified signals to the cathode element of the CRT, and a control circuit for delaying the amplification of the video signals supplied to the cathode element for a sufficient period enough to prevent the focus-flutter display in the CRT.
