PURPOSE: To provide the opening/closing structure of a flip, which is attached to a portable telephone having a high commercial value. CONSTITUTION: A flip 3 which can turn to an opening direction is installed in a prescribed position on the surface of the portable telephone body 1 so that a telephone operation part 2 arranged on the surface of the portable telephone body 1 becomes an exposed state from a hidden state. An energizing mechanism provided with blocking energizing force energizing the flip 3 in a blocking direction in a blocking side position from a prescribed position B when it becomes an inclination state with respect to the surface of the portable telephone body 1 at the time of turning the flip hiding the telephone operation part 2 by a prescribed distance and opening energizing force energizing the flip 3 to an opening direction in an opening side position from the prescribed position B is installed in a pivoting part 4 between the flip 3 and the portable telephone body 1.
