PURPOSE: An accumulator is provided to reduce the size and the weigh of the accumulator by arranging a first pipe and a second pipe near a connecting member. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator comprises a cylindrical body(10), and a header(20) covering the opening of the body. The body and the header are manufactured with aluminum alloy, and fixed with welding. The cylindrical body consists of two aluminum pipes(40,50). A lower part(44) of the first pipe is connected to a first connecting pipe(110) of a connecting member(100), and a lower part(54) of the second pipe is connected to a second connecting pipe of the connecting member. A bag type drying member(60) is inserted between the first pipe and the second pipe, and manufactured with ventilating material. A desiccant(62) is charged in the drying member. The size and the weight of the accumulator are reduced with decreasing the pitch between first and second pipes.
