<p>The banner consists of a backing layer (1) of a synthetic fabric, having a reinforced edge (2) with outlets (3), and one or more rows of transparent pockets (4) attached by welded seams (5) to one or both sides. The pockets are open at the bottom to prevent moisture entering and are designed for inserting squares of paper marked with letters, numerals or symbols to spell out a message which can be altered at will. The open ends of the pockets have short transverse welds (6) to prevent the paper squares falling out.</p> |
