PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an R-T-B sintered magnet in which Br(iHc) is improved, while maintaining high iHc(Br) to be the same as or higher than conventional sintered magnets. SOLUTION: In the R-T-B sintered magnet, using an R2T14B type intermetallic compound (R represents one kind or two kinds or more of rare earth elements, containing Y and surely comprising one kind or two kinds or more among Dy, Tb and Ho and T represents Fe or Fe and Co) as the main phase, an anisotropic magnetic field is unevenly distribute, and the distribution width of the anisotropic magnetic field is 159.2 kA/m (2 k0e) or large. |
