PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sales data processing system capable of eliminating mismatching concerning account deduction between the side of a debit card settling processing terminal and the side of a financial institution without giving an unpleasant impression to a customer. SOLUTION: When data communication concerning authorization acknowledgement becomes an error, debit card settlement processing can be stopped and another settlement processing can be performed. After the data communication is restored normally, the canceling correcting processing of authorization concerning the debit card settlement processing stopped because of the communication error can be asked to the financial institution through data communication. |
