PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor for a pump capable of lengthening the service life of a bearing of the motor and capable of facilitating installation to the pump. SOLUTION: This motor for the pump having a connecting part with a pump casing 2 and having a cover protected by stainless steel, is featured by having a stainless steel material connecting member 7 for constituting the connecting part with the pump casing 2 and an aluminum material bearing support member 5 for supporting the bearing 15 for supporting a main shaft 14.
