PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make color change of light accompanied by desired enhancement of object's color slight and make filter effect insensitive for allowing manufacturing the lamp used and a filter unit. SOLUTION: The lighting unit is equipped with a light source 2 and a wavelength-dependent filter devices 3, 4 having a transmitting filter 4, that selectively transmits light with a prescribed wavelength and/or a reflecting mirror 3 that selectively reflects light with a prescribed wavelength, and in order to enhance the object color to be radiated, this lighting unit filters out a color component with color coordinates facing those of the object color to be enhanced in the chromaticity diagram and having the color coordinates on a connecting line that passes the achromatic point (complementary color), and is featured with the filter devices 3 and 4 that further filter out a part of the color components same as the object color to be enhanced. |
