Module comprises a sensor (18) on which a finger is placed. The sensor captures the features (ridges and projections) of the finger and compares them with a memorized digital record. In addition a command element (20) is able to determine the barycenter of the finger and determine a change in position of the finger to pre-determined zones. Such changes are used to initiate a command. The invention relates to a dual function device that is able to use a finger print to authorize access to some device or other and in addition can be used to control the device by giving it commands.
