PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior panel mounting structure having a good workability for overlaying an exterior panel on a panel body. SOLUTION: A protrusion 9a projecting toward the side of the panel body is formed on the inside of a side plate 1b of an exterior panel 1, a guide groove 10 is formed into the side of the panel body 2 and the bottom face 10a of the guide groove is formed in a taperα1, so that in assembling step, a front panel part of the exterior panel is approached to the front of the panel body to allow the protrusion 9a of the exterior panel 1 to run onto the bottom face 10a of the guide groove 10. This allows the protrusion to be guided and inserted while widening the opening size 13 of the exterior panel 1.
