PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector of a design in which fitting of a housing and a shield is simplified and a shield can be fitted to the housing tightly. SOLUTION: A shield 36 comprises plural panels 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 covering a housing 32, and at least one locking piece 60, 62 of which end edge is bent inclined so that it may enable the shield 36 to lock the housing 32 by locking to the corresponding groves of the housing 32, and the locking pieces 60, 62 are bent to the locking position by simple pressing in the axial direction.
