PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating ratio of an identity authentication device. SOLUTION: A scanner part 1 reads picture data for personal authentication and reads a picture of living body features of a human being. An authentication part 2 authenticates the identity by the picture of living body features read by the scanner part 1 and outputs the result from an authentication result output part 3. Picture data for personal authentication from the scanner part 1 is outputted to the outside through an authentication data output part 4.
