PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a pulsation absorbing effect by preventing dissolution of air in liquid by forming respective spheres positioned on the liquid out of an inelastic material, and coaxially forming an inlet and an outlet of a reciprocating pump. SOLUTION: This gas quantity reduction restraining mechanism of an air chamber is constituted so that the spheres 3 in the air chamber 4 are composed of an elastic material, and an inlet pipe 21 and an outlet pipe 22 of the reciprocating pump are coaxially formed to be positioned just under a liquid level of the air chamber 4 to prevent the dissolution of the air 5 in the liquid 5a to obtain the stable pulsation absorbing effect.
