PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generation device capable of increasing variation over whole performance information, and a storage medium. SOLUTION: Respective rhythm pattern data D-TBLL and D-TBRL are read out from rhythm pattern tables TBLL and TBLR for left and right channels according to a user's instruction. The right channel use rhythm pattern data D-TBLR are multiplied by a balance signal BL via a multiplier 21, and the amplitude of the right channel musical signal is modulated by supplying the multiplication result D-TBLR×BL to an amplifier 22, and an effect is given to the musical signal. Then, the left channel use rhythm pattern data D-TBLL are multiplied by (1-BL) via multipliers 23, 24 and an adder 25, and the amplitude of the left channel musical signal is modulated by supplying the multiplication result D-TBLL×(1-BL) to the amplifier 22, and an effect is given to the musical signal. |
