PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device capable of surely storing the reproducing operation in the case of the dirt of a pickup independently of the user and the kind of device. SOLUTION: This optical disk reproducing device is provided with an adjustment means 5 of light amplifying amount for detecting the dirty state of a photodetecting part of the pickup 2 to adjust the signal amplifying amount based on the detection result, an adjustment level discriminating means 10 for discriminating whether the adjustment level in the adjustment means 5 of light amplifying amount is equal to or larger than the prescribed level, or not, and a cleaning process means 10 for performing the cleaning process of the pickup 2 based on the discrimination result of the adjustment level discriminating means 10. |
