NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that is excellent in deterioration resistance and has low surface resistance of non-aqueous electrolyte and excellent low temperature discharging characteristics while keeping properties necessary for a battery. SOLUTION: This is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has a positive electrode, a negative electrode, supporting salt and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing phosphagen derivative of more than 2 and less than 20 volume %. It is a desirable state and manner that the non-aqueous electrolyte contains the phosphagen derivative of more than 3 and less than 20 volume % and that the ion source of lithium ion is LiPF6 and further that the non- aqueous electrolyte contains non-protonic organic solvent and that the non- protonic organic solvent contains cyclic or chain (aliphatic) ester compound.
