FLEXIBLE PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem where a complex manufacturing process is required and a piezoelectric element with a large area cannot be manufactured easily. SOLUTION: Since the flexible piezoelectric element has a compound piezoelectric sheet 5 where a plurality of flat-plate-shaped piezoelectric ceramics 1 and a plurality of flat-plate-shaped conductors 4 are arranged in a macromolecular base material 2, and electrodes 3a and 3b that are arranged on both the surface of the compound piezoelectric sheet 5 while one surface of the flat-plate-shaped piezoelectric ceramics 1 is connected to one of the electrodes 3a and 3b, the other surface of the flat-plate-shaped piezoelectric ceramics 1 is connected to one surface of the flat-plate-shaped conductor 4, and the other surface of the flat-plate-shaped conductor 4 is connected to the other electrode of both the electrodes 3a and 3b, the piezoelectric element can be manufactured by such a simple manufacturing method as the press method. Also, the area of the element can be increased easily.
