<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic developer and a method of producing that developer, in particular, an electrophotographic developer having excellent fluidity and prerervability, hardly causing inferior picture quality such as white stripes, and hardly showing decrease in the picture quality even when the temperature or humidity changes, and to provide a method of forming an image by using that developer. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic developer is obtained by suspension- polymerizing a polymerizable monomer to obtain a dispersion liquid of color polymer particles in a water dispersion medium which is prepared by dissolving a water-soluble compound containing an element selected from boron and phosphorus, passing the dispersion liquid through a filter cake layer consisting of polymer particles for filtering having a larger average particle diameter than the average particle diameter of the color polymer particles so as to filter and dehydrate, then cleaning the color polymer particles, drying the washed particles, and depositing an external additive on the surface of the color polymer particles.</p> |
