PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorating device capable of providing the novel decoration using light by changing the distance of a light source, thereby changing the visible ways of the light without upsizing of the device. SOLUTION: A translucent member 6 is irradiated with the light from the light source 4 by a reflection plate 14 disposed behind the translucent member 6. The distance between the translucent member 6 and the light source 4 may be increased without upsizing the device and the visible ways of the light may be changed by variously changing the distance between the light source 4 and the translucent member 6. The translucent member 6 is moved by a drive assembly, by which the changing of the state of the diffusion and diffraction of the light by the translucent member 6 is made possible and the decoration having a variety of changes may be provided.
