摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase efficiency of a radiator in the operation of radiant heating. SOLUTION: The space heater is provided with a high-temperature generation means 21, a wind path 24 for heating a radiator for passing a high temperature gas, heat collecting faces 25 heated with a high temperature gas flowing in the wind path 24, a radiator 23 for radiating collected heat as a radiant energy, a blowing means 32 for supplying an air flow, an outlet 31 for letting out hot air flow after mixing it with a high temperature gas, and a switching means 34 for switching the high temperature gas either to the side of radiator 23 or to the side of the hot wind outlet 31. The circulation blowing means 32 sucks indoor air and generates an air flow at the time of switching to the side of the radiator. An outlet 29A for letting out the air flow from the blowing means 32 to the upper front of the heater, a number of through holes 26 are made in the radiator 23, high temperature gas from the high-temperature generation means 21 is allowed to flow on both surfaces of the radiator 23 to form the heat-collecting faces 25 on both the sides.
