PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a water level of a bathtub in a short time. SOLUTION: Hot-water supply is stopped (S15), then a pump is driven at 0 deg. of phase angle in an input voltage (S16). When a predetermined time (20 s in this case) for agitation has passed (S17), the pump is driven this time at 98 deg. of a phase angle for 10s (S18). The switch is turned off (S19). It is recognized that a predetermined time (10-15s in this case) has passed after the stop of the pump operation (S20). After elapse of the predetermined time, a level of the bath is detected by a pressure sensor (S21).
