<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically suppress the occurrence of a short circuit between a pixel electrode and a counter electrode. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device is provided with a first and a second substrates disposed via a liquid crystal and a first and a second electrodes formed on surface of the liquid crystal side of the first substrate. The first and the second electrodes have parts superimposed via an insulating film, and the second electrode is formed on the side nearer to the liquid crystal than the first electrode. The first electrode consists of a transparent conductive material and has film thickness of 500 nm or less.</p> |
