NOISE SUPPRESSING PIPING STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF PIPING WORK EXECUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise suppressing piping structure that can appreciably suppress noise generated when a fluid flows through a piping structure with a bend. SOLUTION: A sheet member 13 comprising a nonwoven layer 13A and a backing layer 13B of reclaimed butyl rubber is wound on a straight pipe 11 laid as a straight region of piping and on an elbow 12 laid as a bend region 12a of the piping. An additional backing layer 13Bb is mounted on the elbow 12 in advance, and a rubber layer 13Ba is arranged furthermore along the junction between the straight pipe 11 and elbow 12. The noise that a fluid flowing through the piping produces can be thus appreciably reduced, in particular even in noise-prone regions, or the elbow 12 and the junction between the straight pipe 11 and elbow 12.
