PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology which can accurately extract a document of necessary version without placing any burden on an operator. SOLUTION: The document managing method which manages documents accessed through sequential operation by plural operators has a step for passing operation discrimination information that document discrimination information for discriminating a document to be accessed by the operation is made to correspond to and instructing the implementation of the operation and a step for extracting the document discriminated with the document discrimination information corresponding to the passed operation discrimination information.
