PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate adjuster for suppressing the sound of running water. SOLUTION: A flow rate adjuster 40 (50, 60) is constituted as a container type having an inner space 50A arranged so that a secondary side flow passage entrance can be closed, and an entrance 61 of the secondary side flow passage is opened in the inner space 50A, and fluid from the primary side is allowed to pass from a small hole 57 opened on a bottom wall 51 disposed vertically to the flow and a clearance 58, etc., formed on a side wall 52 at the peripheral edge of the bottom wall into the inner space 50A, and the fluid with a prescribed flow rate is transmitted to the secondary side flow passage according to the size of the small hole 57 or the clearance 58, etc. This flow rate adjuster is provided with a rectifying member 55 arranged at a position corresponding to the secondary side flow passage entrance 61 so that the inner space 50A is partitioned for separating the fluid flowing from the clearance 58, etc., of the side wall 52 into the inner space 50A and for introducing the fluid to the secondary side flow passage.
