PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to assemble an elastic sealing member for securing waterproofness between the outside cover and the inside cover, constituting a cover body and waterproofness between the cover body and an equipment main body. SOLUTION: In the electronic equipment, where the cover body can be opened/closed to the equipment body 1, the cover body is constituted of the outside cover 3 forming the outer surface of the equipment and the inside cover 4 forming a mounting space 17 for electrical components between the covers 3 and 4. A projected line part 13 extended nearly all over the periphery of the outer peripheral edge of the cover 4 is formed at the outer peripheral edge of the cover 4, and the annular elastic seal member 11, where a groove part is formed at its inner periphery part, is attached to the outer periphery of the cover 4 by inserting the line part 13 in the groove part, and the covers 3 and 4 are assembled so that a part 102 on the side of the cover 3 on the member 11 is interposed between the covers 3 and 4, and also a part 101 on the side of the body 1 on the member 11 may come in press-contact with the main body 1, when the cover body is closed to the main body 1.
