PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-type double acting cylinder device excellent, needless to say, in reliability of action to be capable of attaining forming of thin type to a very high degree. SOLUTION: This cylinder device in this invention has a pair of reciprocating output plates, first/second piston parts fixedly arranged so as to be respectively opposed in an inner side of a pair of these output plates, a central interposition plate interposed between the opposed first/second piston parts, and a first/second diaphragm respectively arranged in the first/second piston parts, in this constitution, a peripheral edge part of the first/second diaphragm is respectively fixed to a peripheral edge of the central interposition plate, also almost the center part thereof is fixed to the first/second piston part, a pair of the output plates are integrally formed in a condition maintaining a fixed clearance through a slide shaft, a peripheral edge part of the central interposition plate is inserted in the slide shaft, also this central interposition plate and a pair of the output plates are formed so as to be relatively slide movable.
