PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitter for fixing the range of data transmission by infrared rays in spite of a change in the intensity of infrared rays from the outside. SOLUTION: The data transmitter for transmitting data by emitting infrared rays is provided with an external light detecting means for detecting the intensity of infrared rays around the data transmitter, a storage means for storing data to be transmitted, an infrared transmitting means for transmitting the data stored in the storage means by infrared rays and a control means for controlling the emission level of infrared rays so as to change the level corresponding to the intensity of peripheral infrared rays detected by the external light detecting means. When infrared rays are not emitted by the infrared transmitting means, the control means performs control so that the intensity of peripheral infrared rays can be detected by the external light detecting means. |
