<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase waterproofing of a connector housing installed in the panel. SOLUTION: In the panel p of an automobile door, an opening H is provided to install a male housing 30 inside it. A female housing 10 is coupled to the mail housing 30 provided inside the panel p. A male grommet 50 is fitted on the outer periphery of the mail housing 30. At the front end of a body 51 of the male grommet 50, an opening seal portion 55, which seals waterproof the installation opening H by closely contacting the periphery of the opening H of the panel is provided. As the outer periphery of the male housing 30 is covered with the male grommet 50, the male housing 30 itself is prevented from wetting even if water gets inside the panel H from areas other than the opening H.</p> |
