PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication master unit, which can be easily installed and can perform stable radio communication with a radio communication slave unit, a network system, which can be easily constructed and can perform stable radio communication, and a communication method. SOLUTION: A network is constructed while using a radio communication master unit 10 provided with a power source connecting part 12 connected to a socket 110 for electric lamp, communication means 30, 32, 34 and 36, which are connected to the power source connecting part 12, for performing communication with a radio communication slave unit 140 and the other radio communication master unit and an electric lamp connecting part 14, which is conducted with the power source connecting part 12, for connecting a power source plug 120 of an electric lamp 130.
