<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry system having the life of a portable unit prolonged and good responsiveness in communication. SOLUTION: The keyless entry system transmits data by a tranmitting and receiving means A to a fixed unit 201 at a first communication speed based on the operation of lock switch 108 or unlock switch 109 of the portable unit 101 and selectively executes active operation mode performing locking and unlocking through an actuator driver 207 and passive operation mode through an actuator driver 207 based on the open trigger switch 208 or closed trigger switch 209, by communicating between the fixed unit 201 and the portable unit 101 with the data at the second communication speed higher than the first communication speed by means of the transmitting and receiving means A and B.</p> |
