PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power conversion efficiency, and realize downsizing, and cost reduction for a high-voltage stabilized circuit. SOLUTION: A voltage resonant converter is provided as a switching converter for inputting commercial AC power source converted into DC and performing switching operation, and the switching output of the voltage resonant converter is directly transmitted to the primary winding of a flyback transformer FBT (high voltage output transformer).With a rectifier circuit for high voltage connected to the secondary of the flyback transformer FBT, DC high voltage for anode voltage of CRT is obtained, for example. The DC high voltage can be stabilized by controlling the switching frequency of the primary voltage resonant converter corresponding to the level of the DC high voltage. It is thus possible to reduce the number of switching converters to be provided on the primary of the flyback transformer FBT to only one set. |
