PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen which is visible without the reduction in the brightness of a screen depending on the directions for observation. SOLUTION: Striped light shielding patterns are formed at a width P' and thickness D' on the flat surface of a lenticular sheet of a pitch P of convex cylindrical lenses and a thickness D from the top of the convex parts of the cylindrical lenses to the flat surface on the opposite side andθ=tan-1 (P-P')/2 D},θ=tan-1 (P-P')/2(D+D')} and aperture ratio = (θ-θ')/θ>= 90% are satisfied.
