PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system capable of obtaining excellent cooling effect and humidifying effect as the air conditioning system for a building for a stable and a plantation room. SOLUTION: When a house 1 is evacuated with a fan 3 provided therein, the house 1 becomes negative pressure therein to introduce fresh air into the house 1 through an air permeable pad 7n of an evaporation/cooling apparatus 5. If hereupon fine water droplets or mists are blown from an spray nozzle 8b coupled with a water conduit 8a to an outer surface of the air permeable pad 7, heat of the fresh air is absorbed owing to contact with the water mists, and hence temperature is lowered with vaporization heat. In the present invention, there is used a self-supporting corrugated plate 7a of cellulose fibers where water resistant processing is applied to the air permeable pad 7.
