PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio data editing device capable of displaying a waveform of audio data without performing arithmetic operation for displaying the waveform, and displaying a waveform of the edited audio data within a short time when the audio data are edited. SOLUTION: A maximum level data and a minimum level data of individual periods obtained by dividing audio data according to the prescribed number of samples are extracted, and thereby waveform display data consisting of the maximum level data and the minimum level data are created. The waveform display data and the audio data are converted into a file.
