PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of improving characteristics of reproduced signals deteriorated by an optical aberration, defocus and crosstalk or the like owing to the inclination of an optical disk. SOLUTION: The device is composed of a light source 11 irradiating light, an optical branching means 15 combining at least two light spots including a main light spot I and a sub-light spot II on the optical disk 1, an optical path converting means 17 converting the advancing path of incident light, an objective lens 21 which condenses incident light and focuses the light spot on the optical disk, a photodetector 25 which respectively receives light which is reflected from the optical disk 1 and makes incident via the optical path converting means 17, and a signal processing part 30 correcting the aberration owing to the inclination of the optical disk from signals which are detected by the photodetector 25 and are photoelectrically converted. |
