PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognition device which surely recognizes a homonym. SOLUTION: Voice inputted from a microphone 10 is supplied to a recognition ECU12. The ECU12 compares and collates the voice and voice data stored in a database 14 and outputs a recognition result to a display 16. The database 14 adds a recognition number having a hierarchical structure for a homonym. The ECU12 generates a question employing the identification number having the hierarchical structure and the question is outputted from a speaker 11. The question is generated and outputted using an uppermost layer segment that mutually identifies homonym data from the higher rank of the structure. |
