<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a joint connector which is connectable by means of a normal circuit, even if the connector is errorneously fitted with a wiring harness-side connector. SOLUTION: An insulating plate, which carries strip-like bus bars arranged in the X- and Y-directions on its upper and lower surfaces and welded to each other through the through-holes of the plate at required intersections is housed in case. The tabs at the front ends of the but bars are protruded into connector fitting sections provided on the external surface of the case, and the first connector fitting section into which the Y-direction bus bars are protruded is used for connecting the connector of the main line of a wiring harness. The paired second and third connector fitting section, which are perpendicular to the first connector fitting section and into which the X-direction bus bars are protruded, are used for connecting the connectors of first and second branch lines. In addition, the first and second branch lines are made to be connected to the main line by means of the same circuit, so that no erroneous coupling may occurs even if the connectors of the first and second branch lines are reversely fitted with the second and third connector fitting sections.</p> |
