<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital communication system wherein no noise is generated in a receiver. SOLUTION: After a transmitter converts an analog input signal to a digital signal, the digital signal is compared with a prescribed level by a power level detector 5. Corresponding to the result, the transmitter sends out a transmitting signal containing the digital signal or the amplified digital signal itself and a control bit expressing the compared result. Corresponding to the control bit contained in the received digital signal, the receiver outputs a signal, with which the received digital signal is converted directly to an analog signal or converted to an analog signal after digital amplification.</p> |
