PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that not only the road surface under a vehicle body but also the peripheral region in the past image data are not displayed on a monitor even when a plurality of cameras for picking-up the whole images of the periphery of a vehicle are mounted. SOLUTION: A vehicle periphery displaying device is provided with the camera 11 for picking-up the image of the periphery of the vehicle 2, an integration processing part 21 for detecting the position of the vehicle itself as position information through a vehicle sensor 12, a memory 15 for storing present video data in the periphery of the vehicle, which is picked-up by the camera 11, and position information in the periphery of the image-picked-up vehicle, a video compositing processing part 25 for reading past video data corresponding to position information from the memory 15 by a memory control part 24 and compositing the past video data with self vehicle shape data X and a display control part 26 for displaying video data composited by the part 25 on a monitor display part 16.
